We are delighted to be helping a long established business in Stroud recruit for an Assistant Accountant into their finance team.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Process and record invoices, expenses, and purchase ledger transactions accurately
Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and balance sheet accounts
Support with VAT returns and other statutory filings
Help prepare management accounts and financial reports for internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation
Assist with payroll processing and related journal entries where required
Support senior accountants and finance managers with ad hoc financial tasks and analysis
